Women's Chainsaw Course


Safety and Woods Working (SAWW) courses provide training and practice in tree felling and small diameter thinning. This course aims to provide skills to help women become comfortable and confident with their chainsaw skills. Highlighting the safety, operation, and maintenance geared toward fuels reduction and creating defensible space around properties. Participants will hone their skills in both a classroom and outdoor setting.


Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6

9:00 am to 5:00 pm both days

Fire Station 13, 1836 S. Mission Avenue, Wenatchee

Registration $30.00 (paid day of class and includes lunch both days)
