Fireworks Ban

Private fireworks are banned in most of Chelan and Douglas Counties, including the cities of Wenatchee and East Wenatchee. Consider enjoying a public fireworks display instead.

Besides being illegal, they can be dangerous. Fireworks caused 8 deaths and 9,700 injuries in 2023 according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Approximately 20,000 fires each year are attributed to fireworks.
