NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Chelan County Fire District 1 Board of Fire Commissioners will hold a public hearing via conference call, on August 12, 2020, at 2:00 p.m.

The Board of Commissioners will hear testimony from interested persons and consider the Petition for Annexation of Parcel 212106310100 into Fire District 1.

Parcel Number 212106310100 – 1.18 Acres

This proposal seeks to annex approximately 1.18 acres of unprotected privately owned property into Chelan County Fire District 1 boundaries pursuant to RCW 52.01.

The subject annexation is being processed by petition method. The 60% petition was accepted July 8, 2020, by the Chelan County Fire District 1 Board of Fire Commissioners. The application seeks to annex property for the purpose of fire protection services from Chelan County Fire District 1.

The owners of said property will assume the financial obligation of the fire district’s regular tax levy.
