NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Chelan County Fire District 1 Board of Fire Commissioners will hold a public hearing at Fire Station 11, 206 Easy Street, Wenatchee, Washington, on June 10, 2020, at 2:00 p.m.

The Board of Commissioners will hear testimony from interested persons and consider the Petition for Annexation of Parcel 212106420051 into Fire District 1.

Parcel Number 212106420051 – 2.19 Acres

This proposal seeks to annex approximately 2.191 acres of unprotected privately owned property into Chelan County Fire District 1 boundaries pursuant to RCW 52.01.

The subject annexation is being processed by petition method. The 60% petition was accepted May 13, 2020, by the Chelan County Fire District 1 Board of Fire Commissioners. The application seeks to annex property for the purpose of fire protection services from Chelan County Fire District 1.

The owners of said property will assume the financial obligation of the fire district’s regular tax levy.
