COVID-19 Response

Greetings Citizens,

CCFD1 has increased our temporary measures to follow "best practices" recommended by various authorities during the COVID-19 event. As such, we are closing our reception office and meeting rooms to public use. We will re-evaluate our office operations after this time. Our emergency operations have changed very little. We still treat our customers with the same efficient, effective, compassionate care as always; we are just wearing some additional protective equipment while we provide the care.

I would like to echo the Chelan-Douglas Regional Port Authority's statement, from the Saturday edition of the Wenatchee World, "please support our local businesses during this time." The impact on the service industry is abrupt with possible significant financial implications. We are encouraging our team members to support local business with food purchases to-go, delivered, gift cards, etc. We all enjoy the great service provided by our waitstaff in the community. Please continue to support the businesses that employ them.

Sincerely,

Brian Brett, Fire Chief

Chelan County Fire District 1

(509) 662-4734
